Default Dinky R/C's "TransMitten"...?

Tired of coming back from a comp or scale run,
feeling like your left hand is gonna fall off!?

OR

You thought you might be cool enough to
look like this guy by cutting the fingers off your favorite gloves!?

(Billy Idol really does rock, right!?)

We all know how you can't fit your trigger finger
in your transmitter when you wear a glove
while your wheelin' your rig during the winter!

We have the solution,
introducing the

"TransMitten"

Shown here with a TQ4, wrapped in Digital Camo.
Made from fleece, keeping your hand plenty warm while wheeling.
And should you have an oops, and drop it in the snow,
it will help protect your radio from the elements.

Here, you get the basic idea. Just insert your transmitter thru the
Zipper, and adjust to your wrist size.
Nice and toasty!

1st place view...

2nd place view...

Also shows outer tool pouch.

This is a "close to final" prototype,
and should be available in a few different colors and or patterns.
MOST all transmitters should fit fine with this model.
(With the exception of the 4PK and larger Airtronics M11 series.)

Here at Dinky R/C, we would like to hear from you,
the customer, wether or not you would purchase an item like this.
Either way, please take a moment to participate in the poll
with a yea or a nea.
And we'll keep an eye as to wether we should pursue these further.

Any and all comments welcome!

Thanks,
Dinky R/C

I Cool idea. Easy to make one for yourself but, I'd probably by one just to save the hassle.

It would be sweet if you made the same hand insert for the steering wheel side too. That would relieve my concern with the current hole covering one of my dig switches (that I operate with my steering hand). It would obviously keep both hands warm too!

I cant steer with gloves anyway.

Great idea for sure I think they would be a big seller. Now what about the same thing but water resistant and clear for the wet outings?

Wink

Cool (or is that "warm"???) idea.

An inside pocket for a chemical hand warmer
A second piece to cover the other hand
Water resistant/proof for those rainy days....

Quick question, does it "flip" for those that are left handed?? (My wife, who is left handed, always asks questions like that.....)

I'm working with my daughter, "Lil Ms. Muddauber",on these. And have gathered materials to make a couple more in the Digital camo, and a black version.
But, once we get rolling, I suppose we could do some custom colors, and/or patterns for an extra charge. Possibly even have you send the material you like,
and we'll stitch it up for you. Glad most of you are digging them.
Now we just need some buyers, we'll be working price point today.

Thanks guys for your participation in this new product development!

i like the idea!

??
add a "pouch" around the radio "steering" for your hands to tuck into
to help shield your hands from the wind/cold.??

maybe even embroider the users name/handle on the bag.??
