I believe they are 3mm. I usually go to the hobby and and ask for a certain lenght screw, due to crawlers not being standard kits. they usually have something that will work. the last ones i got where from hpi

most of the screws in the ax10 are 3mm - i think the shock-mount screws are 16mm long, but I could be wrong. I'd recommend mcmaster-carr if you're thinking of buying more than 1 or 2 screws. They have great prices and ship incredibly fast (had my stuff about 36 hours after i ordered it)

Do you have an ACE hardware near you or another local hardware store? They might have the screw you need. My local ACE has a large selection of 3mm & 4mm hardware and a friendly staff as well.

To start off.....your thread title seemed to indicate you didn't WANT help.....

Sorry...I just had to.

Glad you resolved your issue.

If you need stuff down the road, also see if you have a local Sears Hardware, they have an "OK" selection of 3mm socket head screws (button heads, flat heads, socket cap screws).

Also, McMaster-Carr is a GREAT source. They have black oxide finish, SS and lots of styles/sizes.
Their closest warehouse to me is in south NJ, I am in north NJ, if I order by early afternoon M-TH, I will have it the next day.

If there is a Sears Hardware (not a regular Sears) near you, they should carry a good selection of 3mm. That is where I get mine.

That's good to know, there's one not far from me.

I also have a fastenal close which usually has a decent selection, they are just kind of expensive.

A lot of times places like Fastenal you need to buy in high quantities if they don't stock the screw you are looking for.
