Default motor tubes?

Ok a few years ago I had a bunch of storage tubes for motors. The had a tight fitting snap on cap. I sold all my rc stuff off buy now got back into it. I am working on completely water proofing my truck. My first thought on the motor was those tubes. Anyone know of anything like them that might work on a 540 motor. Even if it isn't completly sealed. Just enough to reduce how much water gets around the motor

Look on RCTech or feebay for someone selling a motor lot with a carry case. Most of them still have those tubes. EddieO may have them laying around too. You have to watch your motor temps if your going to seal it up in a case, so be careful.

They are coin tubes, probably for silver dollars. If you have a local coin shop they will have some.

Actually I think I might have found something that will work also. Went home for lunch and happened to look at my gf spice rack. There different size containers with screw on lids. So I'm going to go find some cheap stuff and try it. As long as I gear it right and have enough airspace in there heat shouldn't be to much of an issue.

Looks like you can still buy 35mm film on amazon, I think think my local Fred Meyer (Northwest only store) still carries some 35mm film. Look on ebay too I just saw some lots of 35mm film canisters for cheap.
