Default r2 disconnect question

I have a LARGE scale rig but no tranny and no one has a summit tranny that's not on ebay so I was thinkin about buyin an r2 disco. Would this be a bad or good idea abd I wouldn't set it up for dig just to disconnect. Thanks for any input.

Disco?? I'll dance to it lol

But they are alright, never heard anything too bad about them other than they are noisy as hell. How heavy is this LARGE rig of yours? If it's really heavy, you could beef up the gears with the upgraded ones?
