RC4WD Yota Axle Issues-anyone?

I've been running the Yota axles for a couple of seasons now with no issues. I just recently switched to the extended axle stubs and hexes and now I snap a stub (at least one) every outing. Since RC4WD does not offer just the extended stub this is a very expensive disposable part.

So what I am wondering is:
1. Is anyone else having this issue?
2. Are there any options out there for a more durable replacement part?

I had almost the same issue with my Blackwell's so just take picks of em all if you still have the broken ones, and rc4wd the pics and tell em your issue. When I did they sent two sets of spares and said they were working on the issue.
