| redrilling axial clockable cs
Hello! Has anyone drilled and tapped the set screw holes to 4mm? The aluminum must be pretty soft. I stripped a couple of the holes without any effort. Thank you for any input

Are you using just the set screw? Use button heads. edit: I just read this again...did you strip them while assembling or did they strip out from use? |

i used the set screws. I will get some buttonheads and go from there. What length should i get?

I stripped them while assembling them. I called fastenal and found out they had an m3.5 tap. That would probably be better than trying to tap it at 4mm.

My last question is this: Would it cause any harm to just put two new holes on the top and bottom of the c?
