It's been a long time since I've posted up. I expanded the course including a long run of sand over some smaller stones. I was trying to give a riverbed type surface. Been running my scaler and crawlers on it pretty regularly and love it. Now for some pics.

thanks. it's taken a lot of work. all those stones have been moved by hand. i need to make some more bridges to make it scaler friendly. i also want to mount up some lighting on the trees around the course so i can get more runtime (after the kids hit the sack, winter, etc.)

Looks awesome. I wish I could do that in my yard. Hows the lighting for the course coming?

Cool course ya got there.
I love it when i have little rock slides on my course! Mine is a good mix of dirt, hills, a ramp, and a ton of big/medium/small/huge rocks. Once in a while a big rock near the top will come down and make one of the lower paths nearly impossible, prompting me to figure out new ways around it and testing myself. Sometimes the smaller rocks will get tossed around from the trucks and it gives it a more natural look, and some nice holes to get stuck in... perfect for a scaler course, and slightly challenging for a comp crawler.
