You know iv seen alot of crawlers and they mostly all have Straight axils but what the E-Maxx comes with out of box (independent Suspension) i thought it would be ALOT better at crawling. :?

Alright I have seen you post this question in several places, I will try to answer it for you. With IFS: You drive up a ramp with only the drivers front tire, it goes up and compresses as much as it can, the passenger front tire only has the weight of the springs pushing it into the ground for traction. With Straight axles: You drive up a ramp with only the drivers front tire, it goes up and compresses as much as it can, by it pushing up it pushes down on the passenger front tire giving it more traction. Also with IFS until all the suspension travel is used, it tries to keep the tires square with the ground. Hope that helps. |

IFS can work, just not as well. So if your budget doesn;t allow a new truck or making the EMAXX act like a solid axle, stick wioth IFS until you do get the income.

I agree with all of the above, you really wont get the same suspension performance out of the Independent like you will with the solid axle.

Another dissadvantage is that when the suspinsion compresses on an IFS truck the ground clearance is reduced. This sometimes makes it hard to predict how a truck will react in certain situations.
