| What material to make swaybars out of?
Say I wanted to experiment with swaybars on my crawlers. What material would you reccomend and where would I get it. I assume I'd want hot rolled spring steel? What diameters? I was figuring on 1/8" or less depending on how wide I make the chassis mounting brackets, and how long the "arms" are.

You can get a "selection" of music wire from Tower Hobbies for ~$10. It will likely have the diameters you are looking for. |

1/8" would be way too much. I use 1/16" (0.063") music wire on my 2.2 shafty rig. As you said lengths and mounting can be used to tune it in. Music wire can be found in almost any hobby shop, craft store and some hardware stores. |
