| Tamiya Hilux/Blazer Diff's
Hey everyone, I recently aquired some hilux/blazer diff's off ebay (complete front/rear) though they are not yet in my hands. I am curious if anyone could tell me the length of each diff? Also, what differences there are between these and the bruiser/mountaineer diff's. I realise these have locking hubs, is it possible to lock the front diff's hub and remove it so it functions the same as a bruiser front diff, yet lets me use some hex adaptors such as these ( http://rc4wd.com/shop/product_info.p...roducts_id=295 ) ? I want to build myself a scale crawler from the ground up with these diff's but am slightly concerned with the wheel width they will provide, also the fact the front diff is supposed to be shorter?? I havent been able to find much info regarding the diff's online (specs)... Thanks in advance, -Andrew |

You will have to buy regular Bruiser rear hubs (for all 4 corners) and Bruiser front half shafts to convert the front axle to use those adaptors from RC4WD.com. The rear axle is longer the front, I dont have exact measurements, but ill take a quick one when I get home... also if you use the adaptors, you are going to want to use stampede rear wheels so the wheels dont stick a mile out from the body.
