what purpose do the green and little black wire serve? i just used my test light to see which wires had power before and after the switch is flipped and only the big black wire has power before its flipped and only the big black and red have power after its flipped.... |

my switch crapped out on me. The other 2 wires I just capped off, and I just have 2 way toggle switch with the larger red and black wires.

Have you check the wiring to it yet. Mine was just a little loose and that was causing my problem.
