Default Money Down the drain?

So i bought a Nylint a couple days ago and i was driving it down some stairs, and the front driver side tire hit the ground pretty hard and now i have no steering. No servo noise nothing. and it is pinned to the right. I have done a search but havent found too much. How do you remove that rivit thing that attaches to the drag link??

its a pain in the but to remove.....i tried dremeling mine out and it melted the plastic around it.....was able to salvage the pitman arm and drag link though, just replaced the pin with a screw.....

i will give you $25 for it like it sits ;)

i just say that the key word of this thing is rock crawler not step going downer or step climber. it must have hit hard; cause that sounds crucial but probably something simple broke. anyway just email nylint and don't get too descriptive on what happened and they will send you a new front axle fo free.

Alright well i am narrowing down the possibilities, and i tested the steering motor with a 9v bat just to see if it spins and it does. which means either bad connection at the circut board or bad wire. what is the best way to test for bad connection at the board besides feeling for loose connections

Welp I came to the conclusion that i fried my ckt boards. I guess you learn from your mistakes. Anyways my local Wall-Mart ALWAYS has Nylints in stock so i went and bought another and its the Red one! time to start the buildup!

Alright well after buying another crawler, i started messing around with my old one some more. And now, when i pin the steering all the way to the right with the transmitter there is a buzzing sound, like it is getting signal now. What to check next?

Dude, get this warranteed. You wouldn't even have had to go and buy another one. Just email funrise, and have them send you a new front axle. Done.

Funny, I have tried several times by phone and e-mail to contact Nylint about warranty info and purchasing parts after my warranty was out, I have never received any responses either way. I am beginning to think that funrise is a myth and Nylint is inept.
