take a look under my threads and go to the scx10 resurrection. I basicly used an OLD beat up ax10 axles and tranny and converted it to a honcho. Its a good Idea. you going to need quite a few things tho.... |

I had an AX-10 and converted it to an SCX10. I bought chassis rails, etc. from RPPHobby.com |

| Yes its a bad Idea and a good idea. bad idea is because you have to peice it together, chassis, body, shocks, links, tires/wheels It will ad up in the end. OR You could try and sell your AX10 on craigslist or on this site and use that money twards a new SCX10 kit from RPPHOBBY.COM! |

Personally, I like the C-Chanel frame from the scx10. It makes it easy to drill and mount stuff to it... sorta like a little shelf.

GCM also makes an excellent scaler conversion kit. It is more expensive but it has details like mounting your motor up front so it doesn't interfere with scale interiors. http://gcmracing.ca/viewitem.php?productid=48 Otherwise if you have patience you might be able to find someone who wants to trade a scaler for your AX10 |

You won't regret it. If you think or do enjoy scalers then there is nothing to regret. Good choice in chassi as there is tons of stuff for it and it works very well. Have fun with it |
