| Creating my dually and double dually
Thanks for the email/pm but I hit delete by mistake so I don't remember who pm'd me... It started as a project to build a wide stance swamper. I had an idea on how to create a dually by bolting two rims together. This worked great but became to wide to run on trails with some of my friends. This set up made my truck 24 inches wide. This fun but as we ran more and more I really needed to narrow my track. Many times I was straddling the narrow paths my friend took with scale RCs. . I then had a second idea to narrow the track but keep tire width the same... I combined the tires I had on 6 rims on my dually to 4 rims - 2 tires each on my double dually. This narrowed my track to about 18.5 inches. Since this is an app for my cell copy past of URLs does not work well... Go to YouTube and search "zepolfun4u" those are my videos ... Scroll until you find the 2 vids i did on making a dually. One is for the 2-rim type and the other is 2 tires per rim... Hopefully those two vids will help with your project... Thanks and good luck on you project. |

The OP didn't do anything wrong. He explained in pretty simple English why he couldn't post links. Maybe you should work on your reading comprehension before posting. | |
