Cool Apocalyptic summit- FEAR IT! ( fun-build challenge)

I was sitting here watching sci-fi movies and became inspired… to redo my summits look.
My Challenge to you (for fun no prizes)- with Halloween around the corner get inspired and create a “look” for your RC…

My Back story on the design…
Hopefully its clear on the picture … I wanted to create a sinister looking Truck of a post apocalyptic future. I took an extremely shiny skull-mask and scuffed it up so there would be shades, shadows, and texture created by all the natural shapes and reflections. I wanted to have a worn thrown together from scraps look so I scuffed and scared up the cage and mask. I painted the cage cherry red but made it “ruff” to give it an abused look. In addition, I used foam sheets to give the “shell” a soft almost canvas look that looks tattered and had been mended to try and keep out the elements and the harsh ultraviolet rays from the sun…

APCALOLYPTIC SUMMIT IMAGES: ( I will post more if you like…)

Pm reply:

Mainly stock at this time... Had double 775 set up but the brace snapped and I twisted my mount. I'm about to remake using a piece of alloy 1/4 inch thick without the brace.

Image of old mount and pattern with alloy to make new dual 775 mount

Hey, I'm looking for new shock mounts or links - can you tell me what those are or are they custom-made?!? Look neat and tidy. Thanks!

Wrecked it off a jump.... Went off the ramp sideways and BOOM! Into a steel pipe sticking out of the ground... Everything is okay but the dress-ups... Bye skull!

Wow...that is definitely an awesome look! Reminds me of the vehicles in Rage I've been playing lately on PS3. Sorta Mad Max meets Grand Theft Auto meets Resident Evil style...controls suck but gameplay is decent.

Throw up some scale mini guns and rocket launchers on that bad boy! Would be pretty wicked...not good in a rollover though. Digging that sweet motor plate man.

So far works great the 1/4 inch alloy is holding up well to all the torque the dual motors have... I am Thinking About Upping the gearing... Right Now I am Running 18/62 and it barley gets hot. Temps are normally about 109 to 115 degrees on the motor slightly higher on the ESC. I'm thinking about going to 25/62 ... I HOPE that will work since the 2 motors will be splitting the load... my concern is the Speed Control and current draw...
