Default So i drove the nylint 1/6...

Yesterday i had my battery all charged up , after an 18 hour wait , but finally went for my first rock crawl, i must say i was impressed, it has a lot of torque( i first was pulling my kid around in his little tikes wagon, he is 20 months old weigh 25lbs. + the wagon another 6-7 lbs, pulled them no problem in hi gear ) i took it out to a construction site, a lot of cinder blocks and other building materials in mount shape , and it took them all like a champ, maybe once or twice it got hung up in it's center or a diff, but that will get resolved soon, only thing i'am worried is the transmission/driveshafts not holding up, it sounds aweful when i switch from lo to hi and viceversa, any comments on how to improve these parts will be greatly appreciated, i know search, i'am not so good with it i've tried help and sorry for the long rant

That sound is normal, it wpnt effect the performance of the truck but you do want to check out the belts if you do some mudding or stream running. but welcome to the hobby cartronic.

don't run it from high straight to low, let the car stop first, then switch, i go a bit reverse to set the gears, seems to work better

That noise is normal. The Selector levor is spring loaded so it bounces off a gear making all of the noise after it's in the right position but the gear is still rotating, nothing to worry about.

NO!!!!! Don't buy the belts on ebay! Go and buy a 1 13/16" o-ring from Checkers and put that on the front and then take the stock front belt and put it on the rear, perfect fit. Only cost ya like 50 cents. I'm not sure exactly what the belts on ebay are but the o-ring works amazing and it's a heck of a lot cheaper.

...which is what we all try to avoid. I'd leave it and let em slip. Dip the belt in some coke pop so it's stickier.
