I don't understand how you broke the first one, run it through some puddles? What's the plans for this one? Other than leave it stock incase it breaks on ya.

Did you open the axle to see? it could've been just a axle pin that snapped, or a belt. We can pretty much fix anything on the nylints now....

well in the front axle , each tire was freely spinning of the other. this was way back in the day though. ANYWAY.. i got the tire carrier build and contiuned to beat it. also made a fake winch for it, it just looks cool sitting on the front of it. after several times out beating it pretty good the only breakage i have is two of the beadlock rings started to crack - good thing i bought spares- haha. but the orginals are getting glued up as we speak. i will get pics up eventually, the body is starting to get alittle rough though. oppsie :p |

Today was a busy day. i found a way to make headlights pretty cheap and i finally inboarded the rear shocks with cut tubes. the headlight mod cost me 12.75 at walmart. i bought two dorcy LED flashlights for 5.94 or something. then i cut away the underside pieces where the grill and stinger screw into. followed by drilling out holes in the back of the headlamps. i cable tied them into place, but down a dap of hot glue and bam..headlights. took me about 10 minutes to cut it all, figure out where to but what etc etc but im happy with the results. Headlight Lights on gotta love projector cut offs for inboarding the rear shocks i wanted to make it simple and have it be least invassive as possible incase it didnt work. reason i say this is the grey tube where the shock rod goes into, i cut it down. i did this to try and help stock flex. instead of bottoming out on the plastic tube, the shock rod would bottom out to the top of the shock. so far after testing this had no real effects to stock or inboard shocks. also i should mention that i did cut out the tabs under the blue a arm. Inboard shocks no cutting was done to the stock pieces at all. works well just fine and dandy and here are the rest of the random pictures i took head shot the beat side a$$ end flex |

so you put complete flashlights on each side have you trimmed the wishbones yet? that will allow alot more flex seriously |

yes they are complete flashlights. im alittle lacking in the general LED wiring and this way i didnt have to mess with it. plus with how much RS wants for white LEDs these were basically the same price. Thats all the more flex i really want from this truck. i dont want to get carried away with heavily modding it. its just here for fun. most i will maybe do next is tummy tuck it but still i dunno |
