Default Update 9-26-06

Well after summer has gone I finally decided to get some work done. Lol! It just worked out that I had some time to myself and get something done on it.
Here are the updates of what I did so far. Some of you have probably forgotten about this so you'll have to refresh your memory on the older links to the pictures in the 1st post.
As you can see I "painted" the body parts Modded the stinger(back in May'06)Made a center console and some custom shifters. Stretched the wheelbase. Re-centered ther rear wheelwells(added some material to front of the rear wheels where the body work is). And did some tube work as well. Oh yea I finally cut a tire pattern I like, after a few designs and some constant marking and slight cutting here and there and testing. Not fully complete yet some other things need to get done and the steering needs fixing.

thanks guys. Ill post more pics when I get more done. So far it seems like the cage really is attracting all the attention compared to my other mods. Unless my other mods just suck.

The cage is really cool, I have never seen that before.
You should go beat the hell outta that thing.

Lol believe me it saw a few before I started modding it.That is how the steering broke. I ran it while I was doing the mods but got sick of putting it together and taking it back apart. So I just left it sit. I plan on doing some work on it tonight all depends how tired and how much time I get.

Thats why I went hobby grade, The steering just quit. It kinda worked when it wanted to.

Hobby grade was the best thing I did to mine. It makes a HUGE difference.

Have fun.

He is Texx. He likes to work on the jeep and sometimes just help out when he isnt strong enough for the big work on the mods. He's sorta happy during the modifications but that cuts into rock time so he's always happy when the mods are done. Im hearing alot of bitchin and complainin about how much rock time he got to spend during the summer. It wasnt enough.
I guess I'll have to get some rock time in before the first snow to keep him happy.

SPIDERXX ..... I like to make modifications on my crawlers, and to go on the rock with them, but ....to see them in action on video , it is my reward.
