Default Eritex Inc.

Here it goes and this hurts.

Between poor pricing decisions on my part, very bad luck, and a scam that was ran on Eritex Inc about 2 months ago Eritex Inc stuck. The company I have spent the past 4 years building and working 80 hours a week trying to make it the best I can is broke and out of funds. I took personal funds to try and prop Eritex up long enough to do a soft landing here for the past 45 days or so but in the past 15 days Eritex Inc has hit a wall. In the midst of getting the final orders out Eritex Inc had multiple Paypal claims filed against it (which I fully understand) which depleted all remaining Eritex Inc. funds for finishing and shipping outstanding orders.

Since the claims I have started the process of liquidating secondary machinery and equipment to raise enough funds to get the final Eritex ordered finished and shipped. I have also found employment outside the hobby market so all funds from the sale of Eritex equipment is going to clean up the Eritex mess. I am doing all I can right now to keep Eritex Inc from filing for bankruptcy so as not to leaving anyone out a thing and I think I have it covered with the sale of 1 piece of machinery. After you guys are all fully taken care of I am locking the doors on Eritex Inc and leaving full time business ownership to better men and women then I.

Eritex Inc is not officially out of business but it has a wrecked credibility, destroyed fiscal standing, and no good name due to poor choices and horrid customer service so I know Eritex Inc is done in the hobby market. I know I have not answered phone calls or emails in the past 10 days but honestly, watching my career and company circle the drain and implode while having no way to save it has been about the most painful thing I have had to deal with in decades. I do not expect sympathy instead I fully expect to be shunned from the hobby I love and fully accept ever foul, obscene, and demeaning statement about Eritex Inc and its business practices. Eritex Inc failed all of the customers it has ever serviced and for that I, Gerame Erickson, am ashamed of Eritex Inc and Eritex Inc will live up to all orders placed and then go away forever.

Not sure what else to say but I am sorry and please do not judge any other RCC vendor or this forum board by your experience with Eritex Inc. This is Eritex Inc's fault and no one elses. To Jason and John, I am sorry for the grief I have cause you and will soon be out of your hair.

Wow... It takes ALOT to publically come out and admit your faults like this. I think It says volumes about you and your character Hang in there things will get better, sometimes working for yourself and the stresses involved aren't worth it.

Godd luck!

Although you at least explained what was going on, it probably would have been a lot better for you to come out and say it sooner instead of dragging it on like you did. Hope your future endeavours work out for you

Sorry to hear this, it takes some big attachments to publicly make a statement like that. Good luck on closing out, it's never a good day when we lose a valued Vendor but it's even worse if that person gives up on the hobby all together, hang in there Geremy.

Like many, the motors were out of my league, but I followed the thread because it was one of the coolest products I've seen come out of this forum's vendors. It's unfortunate that it ended up where it is. I don't think your reputation is ruined, it's badly damaged but if you follow up with refunding or getting the motors out, it's salvagable.

You are obviously very talented. There is obviously demand for your products. you need investors & a partner with buisness skills. But you gotta do what you gotta do. I can understand wanting to distance yourself from the whole thing for a while.

Good luck. Hope everyone gets what they want in the end.

Sorry to hear that. You've been like a rolemodel for me. You always come up with cool new and insane items.
I am a machinist myself and always trying to improve to someday reach similar skills that you have.
This scam feel like someone has a grudge with Eritex Inc.
And how is it even possible to scam a company and force it to bankrupcy. I don't understand that.

Hope everything works out and you wont totally quit machining.

I'm not sure of all the circumstances, but it sucks to see you go.

If you ever feel like hitting up Diamond City, you know where to find me.

Sorry to see you go man, nevr had the chance to own any of your stuff but from I saw it was amazing stuff.
I know people will say that you should have said this sooner but I get it when your trying to save something or fix it, That thought doesn't always cross your mind. Hopefully in another time you'll be able to do it again. Wish ya luck man

Sorry to the news Gerame, I've always respected you for your machining skills and knowledge. There are only about a dozen people on RCC that truely impress me with their builds and skill set. (I just realized how snobby this came out, oh well) You are near the top of the list. Everyone makes mistakes and as long as we learn from them we continue to grow and progress. I wish you the best with your new job and please let me know if I can help with anything.
