Default Bad servo cause Glitches??????

So I took my scx10 through some mud and now seems to have a glitch prob. My lights n such were working when I got it home but now the taillights stopped workin. no mud or water got on the circuit board for them. The Reciever is in a sealed box along with the esc. However it had the stock steering servo. So would a shorted steering servo cause it to lurch forward or act lame?

Thank you for helping

Yep a bad servo will make the receiver appear glitchy. I'm not sure why it does, but makes all other functions twitch and stutter.

Yes, a bad servo could cause glitches.
1-Water inside the servo could be causing shorts
2-Jammed up servo could be overloading the ESC BEC

Had that happen twice, once due ot water and once just beacue the stock servo gave up. the servo drew too much power and made everything else act strange.
