| Help! Which motor for a power hungry man?
Im running 2.2s, scx10. I know that I want CRAZY amounts of torque and wheelspeed that also crawls well, I know I know. I was thinking t8 1350kv, pro4, or redline 13.5t? Any insight would be appreciated |

On 2s or 3s? What about a crazy FAT, outrunner in the 1300kv range? I have an A30-8XL 1100kv that had a lot of grunt and decent speed on 3s. Personally I like old school Astro-Flight cobalt 05, in the 10-13turn range. Modern day version would be the Holmes Hobbies puller. |

I'd recommend the 3300kv Pro4 on 3s. It'll have as much power as you need and crawls nice. 6s is so 2010.

I like the Tekin RS Pro, but I've seen it run with great success with a Mamba Max Pro. Having the auto lipo recognition with the MMP is really nice, plus it's almost $100 cheaper.

I had 5700kv on my origional sidewinder brushless kit and it is nuts especially on 3s really to much. It would slam a 8 pound tubber on its rear on flat land easy even at 50 percent it had more than any other setup I had seen gave.

It would break stuff real quick and lay black marks on black top.

Reacon, How did that 5700kv crawl at 100% power? I imagine not very well with a axial tranny? |

Way to much power, it was too much on the wraith, and 8 pound rig, and an scx10. It was to much for it not crawling the front wheels wouldn't stay on the ground.

my new 4000kv pro4 crawls as well as a redline 13.5 with a torqur rotor yet has nearly twice the wheel speed.

I think I'll go with the 3300kv pro4 I've heard that the MMP doesn't crawl as well as a tekin. Is this true? If so which tekin esc should I get?

Alright, going to Tammies tomorrow. Would the rs pro possibly have a heat problem with the pro4? Is that why tekin recommends it with the rx8?

My buddy runs a wraith with a mmp and a pro4 3300. Never had an issue. Crawls and has plenty of speed. Here is a link to his build. Another wraith. |

My recommendation is to get the RS Pro if you can afford to spend the extra $75. If you're on a little more of a budget, get the MMP. You'll be happy either way. | ||

From what I read about Tekin and castle esc's .. is that castle has smooth low end resolution. But Tekin is faster.
