well thats what I thought, what about upgrading to 7.2 in a C cell battery, will that allow a longer running time rather than what came with the nilynt

I have ran about 2hrs with mine. DO not do it to stock axel, The only way i found to stop gear clicking is with bands to keep the gearbox tight. |

get bents mod will take care of the clicking axles if done correctly. imo 9.6v is pushing the stock electronics. a sub c cell 7.2 volt battery will not hurt the electronics as your still runinng 7.2 volts. |

cool.weight could be a problem if its to high, it will cause the truck to roll over easily.

Weight can become an issue, I found my truck (when it was stock chassis, I'll post up what i've done to it now when i'm done) crawled much better when I bobbed the back of the Jeep body. If you want more run time, build or get some packs built using AA cells, you can get 1750mah cells. I'm going to be using the stock cells to build a pack to lay tight to the top of the axle.

I haven't got it figured out yet, I can't get the stock pack apart with my iron, I may just get some new cells. I just weighed my stock pack vs. a sub-c stick pack (NiCd to Nicd, since my IB3800 NiMh packs are an ounce or two over a pound). The sub-c came in at 11.5 ounces, while the stock pack was only 4 ounces. The sub-c you have should give roughly double the stock 600mah's run time.

im using intellect 1200 2/3 cells (6). i get more punch and about 30 minutes of run time.my rig is locked in low.pluss these cells are lite. if you wanted to get long runtimes with low weight look into gp 2400 AA size batteries. |
