| switching to hobby grade electronics, can i use nylint steering?
would the original steering comply with an aftermarket speed control?

if you are really experienced with electronics, and know everything there is to know about how to do those things, you may be able to...but no one has pulled it off yet. -Dalton |

but why would you want to? one of the main reasons to go to HG electrics is to get rid of the bulky steering box......

putting in a servo was easier than wiring the motors.

yeah, it would be better to go to a setup like jeepernick if you switch to hg electronics. easier and you get rid of the huge steering setup. -Dalton |

I personally couldnt get the stock steering to hook up, but why would u anyways, a servo is better in so many ways, one being no stupid belt driven steering and my steering is max, axles hits both the hubs stops in the inside, and I can do a hand stand in rocks and still turn,......... and dont look at my site for pix of it, it is setup totally different now and I dont have camra and I just fried my ESC :-( |
