Me?
No, sorry, I didn't get them for the reported $15.00.
I paid $49.00 like most others.

We do not sell entire crawlers. Too many reports of non-working vehicles including broken wheels, bad batteries and chargers, besides several other things.
We do have parts though........all checked or tested before we ship.

Prefer to trade replacement parts for LEGO if possible.

(everybody has LEGO somewhere)

Spelling it out for those that cannot grasp the idea ..............it seems as if a lot of the people on this board are younger than older. Many need parts but have little (or no) money.
Everyone has Lego so we are offering to trade Nylint parts for Lego.

We have more than enough crawlers but never enough Lego!

Pretty simple when ya think about it.

I have tons of legos, but I'm saving 'em for my kids...when I have some. I don't think that there's a better toy to teach kids how to build and wrench on stuff, except maybe erector sets.

Here is one of my purchases. $25 ea. isn't bad. Much less than my original purchase.

The sign in this particular wally world said $99, but I scanned them anyway. No wonder they weren't selling...

Default Sorry, my bad. Sorry, my bad. Sorry, my bad........

If you dont believe me then wait for adrift to show you the reciept
Ok, we're past the "wait a week" stage so by now joecrawler has informed adrift to of which slum infested city Walmart has the $15.00 Rock Crawlers.
So with that in mind I am sharpening up my typing skills so I can respond with the 'sorry I ever doubted you' post as soon as adrift scans in the $15.00 each receipt that joecrawler threw away......

In fact, $5.00 cash to the first person that scans into this thread a COMPLETE receipt for a Nylint 1/6 crawler for $15.00 from that aledgedly poverty-stricken village Walmart.

Why only $5.00???

Simple, if I said it was $100.00 do you really think that I would send it?

Yeah, that's the point.

The reason it's dragging on is because a couple of us would like to see the justification for the start of this thread in the first place.
(i.e. the proof of the $15.00 crawler. Not a $10 or $25, just the original subject of this in the first place)

I wrote early in this drama that somehow we would probably never see a receipt and up to now that has been the case.

Lot's of excuses......................yet no substance.

we should just stop posting on this thread, we all pretty much know it was a lie, so why keep beating a dead horse? just screw it! JoeCrawler has already given up responsibility of his lie. i'm tired of seeing this thread at the top of todays topics, but hey, what do I know, maybe some people like chasing these little sugar coated fantasies, hoping their blindness to reality will cancel out reality, so they can substitute their own. BUT I DON'T, so let this thread be a forgotten sad chapter of rc rockcrawling history.

Default A dead horse may be dead but it can still be beaten!

Perhaps but we DID get a scan of a real receipt in this thread showing that a Walmart did sell crawlers for $25.00 so it's not a total waste.

Simple..........if nothing else to deter the next "dead horse".

What if you just paid $99.00 for your first crawler then found this forum.
Bad enough that you learn here that most every Walmart (ok, those that have any) have them for $49.00, now you read that people are paying only $10 or $15. "Good for them' you may say but I'll bet those people still feel like they got screwed.
(remember adrift was supposed to benifits of the next shipment of $15 crawlers)

Most people over the age of 15 probably figured it was a BS report after the second post, yet some did not.

Let it be clear that if you post something for no other reason than to brag you had better be able to back it up if you are called out to dance.
(law.74 did before even asked and we have proof $25 crawlers are out there!)

Well, unfortunatly with so few posts in this forum that's what happens.

It's the Howard Stern syndrom..........

.......the people that hate it most are the ones that can't wait to read the next post.

Besides, any forum that allows you to use is always going to get a few people to stir the pot from time to time.

There you go, case in point!

This is a great forum to learn from others. If you want to share that's fine but if you come here to just 'one up' the next guy you should be able to back it up if you are called out.

That's all.
