For a heavy or light truck?

I've used MRC springs with these shocks and they worked well on my lighter scaler...

right now my truck is at 8.5 lbs with just a little bit more styrene to be added yet....all the metal work i needed to fab up has been done....the stock springs that came with these shocks the truck is drooping just a bit and not with the shock at full length so to say....i can pick up the truck by the bumpers and the axles will drop down bout 1/4" of the 7/8" shock travel....i'm running 40wt oil in them to start to see how fast they work using the dual spring setup now, i still have the longer single spring yet to try....but not sure if it is the same rate as the two together are,.....bob

Spring packs are a really good way to start a collection of springs you'll never use.

I've seen the Slash spring pack, most are super stiff and almost useless unless you plan on jumping your scaler supercross style.

You won't need as much spring as you think you will. My 12lb scaler used something similar to Losi whites. Gave it a little bit of sag and looked/performed well.

The pro line scaler shock spring and SCX10 springs work well together. I like to run the pro line springs on my SCX10 shocks.

I used the upper Axials, the short ones, combined with the lower P/L's on the front.
