You hear a lot of guys around here talk about the 'TLT'. I have to say I saw one in acxtion and wasn't that impressed. Your best bet is to hit local hobby shops in your area and check out the kits, and talk to knowledgeable people for some advice. Besides the store staff there's almost always some guys hanging around who will jump at the chance to talk about the hobby. |

I say go for either a TLT or a Clod if you want a hobby grade crawler.

Most Nylint mods are pretty cheap or free, what did you spend $$ on?

Clod or TXT is the only thing u can buy and still have the large Nylint style, right? cant put 7" tires on a TLT so oh and why is this posted in the Nylint threads... why not post it in chit chat |

i've got savage shocks on the way, bought revo wheels/tires(it was for another rc but i still bought them) the sockets to mount the revo wheels, all the material for the "stick", nut's bolts, paint. and whenever i can find them at least 2 F&F batteries. i know i'm forgetting some things. oh yeah i'm gonna put a lexan body on it, plus the inital cost of buying the thing.

A good TLT can out perform a Nylint any day, of course with a good driver. Belive me, I Know. I usually go out crawling with a couple of SW2's and they are amazing! I'm def going to get one of those when I go hg. But if you want to stay to Nylint size, get a clod. It's alot easier to have a clod out perform a txt if your not an amazing driver.
