tired of havin the driveline pop off the yoke?? well you can easily fix that using my method. all you gotta do is take the metal yoke and press the pin that connects to the slider out. you then take a nail that fits through the hole and is fairly long and put that through the hole. bend the ends until they are like the picture below and you are set for trouble free driveline issues |

I'm not convinced it's angles, my driveshaft ends up near correct and it pops off. It just started to happen, so I'd like to think it's a worn out plastic piece. |

If Scoot'ster were to post a picture of his angles you'd agree about the crappy angles. We're all amazed that his junk actually works. Go get Jato shafts, you have a job, you have $11 in your pocket fool. http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXKMG2&P=7 | |

I have a truck that was snapping the Pede drive lines like twigs. To solve the issue I replaced them with Maxx ones.

It would look nice and clean if you could find a small machine screw and nut to use instead of having to bend a nail around like that.

I can't see that lasting very long, it's going to bind once the u-joint bends and destroy the plastic yoke. If you don't want to buy a new yoke, which I don't understand when fixing it right will cost more, just use a piece of all thread rod and two lock nuts in place of your bent nail. |

Have you tried grinding down that nub on those yokes? I'm betting part of your problem is it is stickng so far out you get some wobbling out of it which pops out the connecting pins. Then again, having said that, MGS511 spent a good 1/4th of the day today putting his back in. But his problem was the plastic is all warped. |
