| CJ Grill
I'm building up a Tamiya Wrangler Jeep and trying to build it like my '81 glass bodied CJ. I've got the back looking good and my CJ has the same fender flares on it but I'm wondering if anyone know of a vendor that makes a replacement grill for the Tamiya body? I tried searching and there are lots of options for other bodies but if anyone know where to find either styrene or metal it would be a great help. Gonna go back and keep reading all the threads in case I missed it so dont hack on me for not searching! |

There's these, not sure how they'd fit on a Tamiya body. Shoot the vendor a PM for more info. http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/scale...cj-grills.html |

I think those are a bit small, that was about all I found for options. I found a guy that will CNC me some styrene, we are going to 3D scan my 1:1 then the Tamiya body and work from there, I will post after getting it done.

A guy named air ship makes an full conversion for the Tamiya body (grill, hood, ect.). He's overseas though, I had a hard time getting him to contact me and moved on but I think other guys have had success. Here's his site : www.rc-crawler.it |

That conversion is closer. I sent him an email just to check if he can ship one out. It's not perfect but getting closer. I will post some pics of my 1:1 grill tomorrow. I want to make it to have Axial light buckets and signal buckets installed.
