| Lost front traction
I have tree 1:6 nylint Jeeps, one of them are losing front traccion, it stucks easily, the rear traction is working normally but front is not well. What can I do ? Last edited by GuAnAtoS; 09-06-2006 at 07:18 PM. |

| open it up and clean it. if you have some belt dressing use it, really helped mine. apply it with your fingers so there's no over spray or drips, helps keep the insides cleaner that much more .

I would replace the front belt with the O-ring mod listed in the stickies at the top of the 1:6 Nylint forum.

Funny, it wasn't until I did the o-ring mod that mine started slipping. Plus I've had a HELL of a time getting the hi/lo mechanism to work right again; the lever won't hit the microswitch to stop the hi/lo motor! I put some oil in the gear boxes and it may have spilled on the belt, I guess. If he means what I think he means the front wheels turn but you can grab one with your hand and it stops, even thought the motor is still running.
