Finalized my crawler plans.....NEED OPINIONS

The stats on what I plan to do:

Locked and locked out maxx axles
Rockraider chassis w/4" shock mounts & maxx tranny
Stock Traxxas part #5451 Revo shafts
Narrowed Jumbo Kongs

My main concern is using the stock #5451 Revo shafts. Will I be able to use them stock and then just make my links cut to length or will I have incorrect 4-link characteristics? I have read somewhere that the stock Revo shafts and Kongs will give a 17"-18" wheelbase?

What do you guys think?

wheelbase isn't determined by tire size and shafts. it is determined by link length.
