Default can you use marine grease for differentials

I bought a used rc18t and I tore down the differentials to find them with little to no lubricate, so the question is. Can I use a little waterproof marine grease to lubricate the differentials or is marine grease to heavy.

I don't see why it wouldn't work just don't pack the diffs full of grease.

Don't use it on the diff rings or balls, as it will result in them slipping. Only use silicone grease for those parts.

Any auto/marine grease is fine for the thrust bearing assembly and the gears themselves. Just a little dab will do ya.....

Everything looks fine to me. Just a little slimy shine is perfect.

Yep... Only use light coats of the team associated clear and black grease where they say to put it. Any packing of grease will also break those gears. My xlr8 chassis that uses tc3 parts puts those gears free floating without a case. The ae white gears are self lubricating in less words and are spec to run dry.
