Default Vintage??

So I keep seeing vintage this and vintage that. At what point does RC stuff become vintage? 10yrs? Pre-Lipo? Pre 2000?

I think of vintage rc being first generation race tech and older. Nicad and before everyone used similar geometry.

Most "vintage" guys I know pretty much go with early 90's or older. Pre rc10b2/t2 era. Mostly stuff that could have had a manual speed control included in the box.
