| Currie Anti-Rock Idea
Hey, I Was Reading My Fav 4x4 Mag.(Four Wheeler) They Were Doing A Install Of The Courie Anti-Rock Swaybar System. I Got To Thinking When Looking At My Crawler. My Bud Has A TxT-1 Crawler With TONS of Body Lean. As I Was Further Into Reading The Article, It Said That It Doesnt Limit Axle Articulation. I Have An Idea In My Head But Ill Try To Draw It Out For Ya All.(IN PAINT ) Have Like A Piece Of Rod About The Thickness Of A Coat Hanger, Maby A Little Thicker. Have The Arms Off Of The 2 Lower Links And Have 2 Arms Come Out To The Links. Then Connecting The 2 Links Between The Two Links. Thats The General Idea. Look On Curries Interprizes Website And Type In Anti-Rock Swaybar System. Tell Me What Ya Think. NATE |

Currie's Anti Rock sway bar is a torsion bar with links splined onto the ends of it. It works very well. The hard part to emulate on the rc side of it is the thickness of the torsion bar. I made a similar set up with treated spring wire and links. It worked well with the Savage shocks but I ended up ditching the whole suspension in favor of the regular maxx shock set up with no sway bars. |
