Yes but the after market light bars are expensive aluminum ones. Plastic should be cheaper. As for the actual thing as a whole I couldn't care less except for the fact that we will hopefully see less silver jeeps..

Haven't you noticed that anything JK gets snatched up by people who own JK's that have to have every possible bolt on, screw on, double sided tape on, velcro on gee gaw and accessory so they can be bad ass "expedition wheelers" on their way to nordstroms all the while they don't know how to engage 4 wheel drive.

Granted there are some JK owners out there that are normal but the majority I've dealt with are fawktards. But just like all things 1:1 and 1:10 it's the fawktards that keep the money flowing and the manufacturers in business not the guys that build their own stuff and actually use it.

Looks like it's time to add some light bars to my 1:1, order some of these tires and bars, and have a full size and a mini copy....

Meh. It's just another SCX with a jeep body, some crappy glue on plastic wheels, some readily available light bars, a rebranded servo, and a new sticker sheet. The tires are the only thing remotely interesting. How many jeeps are they up to now?

They gotta make the jeep licensing worth it. Im sure they already made a massive profit off it though.

By far the best looking RTR SCX to date in my opinion. Would I buy one? Nope. Will they find new customers? Most likely.

The only things that interest me on it are the light bars and tires, the body doesn't interest me, and the rest of the stuff I've seen since the SCX-10 was brand new many moons ago.

Anybody got a parts tree # for lightbar supports? VP's are very nice, but 6 rigs that still need light bars, $260 for brackets? Uhmm, nope.

dang beat to the punch again. i had some of those RI 4 led hood/pillar pods modeled up to be machined.
but these will be cool. light bars are a huge improvement to the VP versions.

Brackets work on a variety of builds, not just Jk's.

I'd rather roll my rig over on a cheap plastic light bar instead of an aluminum one. I think the Rigid light bar jump offs will be nice for that aspect. Although you haven't lived until you drag several hundred dollars worth of aluminum axle housings across rocks for the first time.

Just another re-hash of the same thing, just like the Poison Spider Wraith.

C'mon Axial, let's see something MORE SCALE!!!! That kit isn't even true scale wheel base and width to compare to a 1:1.
I'll be more impressed with a Wraith sized true scale 2 door or 4 door JK based chassis.

R&D and mold tooling easily cost Axial over 100K for a "new" truck...so give them a break already! They've put out some amazing products and they've done their best at keeping things fresh as well

The SCX10 was fresh when it came out. The Dingo was fresh on release. The JK was fresh on release. The 40th JK is not fresh, it's stale and borderline moldy.

I sure am glad I'm not a broke arse fawktard, cause I wouldn't have very many toys to fawk up and bitch about what everybody else has and worked their fawking arse off for, and be able to support the vendors and manufacturer's that make this hobby what it is, AWSOME!!
