| Class 3 Tuber Build
This is my class 3 tuber, being built by PeteAttryde cos he can do steel work and I cant Its based on a tuber I got from Dready lil illegal - Scale 4x4 R/C Forums After toying with it for awhile i decided Losi axles wen=rnt right for a bouncer so I traded it out. And this new one is based on Lil Illegal but will be using my Tamiya CR01 axles and trans. Front servo chassis mounted, rear servo will stay axle mounted This is copied from Petes thread on Scalerc.co.uk both axles and the gearbox mounted. Today's progress Made a new transmission skid/mount from aluminium, to lower the transmission about 5mm. I had to do this to stop the rear propshaft from binding at full droop. and having sorted out the panhard rod/ steering links I moved on the main tube work. |

Also means that my class 3 will be narrower than the wraiths that are running therefore easier to get through the gates | |

That is coming along nicely, looking forward to seeing the finished rig. It's also nice to see someone doing something like this with a Tamiya based rig. I like being different! |

Some more from Pete who is building it. Well ran out of Silver solder in the week which slowed progress a little :( Finally got some more on Friday, and today got a bit more done this afternoon ::thumpsup:: The suspension seems to flex quite nicely  Just need to make a battery tray and a radio tray. Plus add some small bits of tube to finish it up, then I'll strip it down and sandblast it, put it back together and get it off to Andy. Thanks as ever for looking ::thumpsup |
