Default Chassis options advice needed

Hey guys, I have been out of the comp crawling scene for a couple years or so and would like to get back into it. I have read up on a lot of builds here and they all look awesome. The question I have is, what chassis and link combination seems to work best all around. Is there someone that makes a chassis and link combo that has been tried and true? My previous rig was a berg based rig with some pretty decent mods, however, it is lacking compared to the stuff out there today I also have a pile of xr10 parts but haven’t done anything with them in a few years either. Any input would be helpful in choosing a good solid setup to be competitive. Thanks for your help.

Need more information such as what class you are wanting to compete in. Sounds to me like you are an MOA guy but still need more info.

It would be an MOA and it would be 2.2pro
I am also looking for bodyless chassis.

I love my 5th Dimension dominator chassis and Bully 2 axles, its a good solid setup that works very well. Any of the chassis' that you see in the Bully, Berg, Xr10 sections will be competitive, choose one that looks good to you. Axles are up to you, Bully 2's require nothing extra, Bergs can be beefed up or bought customized from Dlux or ClassiCutCustoms, Xr10's are discontinued and harder to find parts for so I personally wouldn't waste much money into those. Do you still have the Berg axles? If so check out RcBros for some new tubes.

Is there a thread listing 2.2 pro bodiless chassis? I am in the same boat as you Josephi. Having a hard time narrowing down chassis, it seems every time I find one I like, a bunch of other ones appear and then I lose track of some of the other ones...
