So I'm nearly done my current build, and just realized that I haven't looked for a space for my servo winch (typical style, external spool) to go. There doesn't seem to be much if any room in the front of my chassis for one. Can anyone see a spot that'd work? Line needs to clear the servo at full articulation too: |

On my last Wraith, I mounted the servo winch in the back and used an antenna tube to run the line up front.

Yeah, that could be a good option. Hadn't thought of that. On the wraith, did you make some sort is mounting tomove the cable back to centre at the front, or just run it directly to the fair lead at an angle etc? |

I made a flat plate in the bed where the stock battery tray would go, and mounted the servo on top. This put the spool almost centered in the truck. I went with the antenna tube for its flexibility and size. I needed the tube to go under the forward battery tray, and over the VP chassis servo mount.
