Default Help assembling upgrade drive shafts on TXT-1

Help. I need to know what the correct method is for assembling the universals on the upgrade Traxxas Half shafts I have for my TXT-1.

My first attempt split one side of the yoke where the pin goes through.

I pushed it into one side and squeezed it with channel lock pliers to force it into the oppisite side with the above result. Couldn't do it with my fingers.

Since I have a lot more of these to assemble I obviously need a different (better ) method of assembly.

Try soaking the yokes in hot tap water for a minute or two...it will soften them a little bit and make it much easier. You will probably even be able to do it by hand.

Thanks a bunch. The hot water method worked easily with my fingers.
