| Gear reduction, axles, transmissions, oh my
After going from the stock axles on my ECX Barrage to MST MSA axles, I noticed the two have different gear reductions. The Barrage axles are either 2:1 or 4:1, and my MSA axles are 1:1. What would be the easiest way to fix this? I am running the standard 370 size motor, so I can't use the 4:1 RC4WD 540 motor gear reducer...any help would be appreciated! |

MSA axle looks like 2.4:1? ECX looks like 38:14, 2.71:1. That's really close. Just a bit slower on the motor pinion and you'll be good. 2 teeth down or so. |
