| Nylint replacement???
Well ive been looking around the fourm and different places and I want to get into the rock crawling. So ive been looking around at the nylint rock crawlers, but havent been able to find any nylint's around me. I also found a thread about a mini rock crusher. So I was wondering is there any other rc trucks from wal-mart or other such places, that will work? Mostly I am looking for a complete truck. That I will end up building my own chassie for it. So is there any good wal-mart type trucks that are a good replacement for the nylint?

if you want to build a cheap crawler, buy some 1:18 axles, controller, and circuit board off ebay (or buy the whole thing depending on price) and then build a chassis out or allthread, mechanical pencil tubes (as a sleeve to keep the threads from eating the pivot points), some nuts, and some aluminum sheet..... then get some stock TLT wheels and tires from soemone who bought a kit for just the axles....make your own adaptors, there are lots of threads on here about that..... then get a cheap RC car or truck for a body.... could do it for under $75 total |

i've got a nylint for sale with extras. i can throw in everything you'd need for hobby grade electronics, an extra body, stuff for a stick chassis, 2.2 wheels/tires. check it out in the classifieds : http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showthread.php?t=55652 and you can email me at payableondeath62(at)hotmail.com

well you have to lock the front diff on the 1:6 newbright and also the suspenion is very stiff and the tires are rock hard. Easy fixes, But it also is no where near as good as the nylint.
