| cheap suspension links.
Here is how I built my links. I cut 8-32 threaded rod to the right length. Simple enough. I work at a brake suppler so I took some 1/4 steel brakeline and cut it to length and used it to sleeve the all-thread, works great so far, and you can do the whole suspension for ~$15.

I have an x factor so I use the big xtm rod ends kinda tight squeeze but the 8-32 rod will work.

Just Razzin ya........It is a cheap way to build some pretty stout links. I used the #8 all thread and 1/4" breakline deal for my sons crawler. They turned out real nice. I used Kyosho 6.8 ends, pretty beefy stuff for the plastic ends. Kyosho Ball End 6.8mm Kyosho Flanged Ball 6.8mm | |

I've had some bad experiences with building links-mainly a drill press crushing my index finger (wanna see my scar? ). So I just call up Dev2K at Deffiance racing, he cooked me up some beefy 5/16" alum links for my max before I could even pay for um and they're better then anything I could do. |

i use 10*1mm ss tube for my links with locktied or welded in 5mm thread socket the tube has the same section modulus as a 8.7mm full steel rod ;) and weights less then half |
