Default what's a good tubing bender....

for some brake lines for a tube chassis? I need something descently cheap and affordable. I found these

I'm thinking of using some 5/16" brake lines or maybe smaller, probably smaller, but eventually I wanna build something using 5/16" brake lines. Any input would be nice. Thanx, Wes

I just bend everything by hand. Meaning, my own two hands bending the tubing around something round... ...not very high tech, but works. I also have a large asst. of old automotive v-groove pulleys that I use as homemade dies.

I do it by hand.

I don't like the idea of having one radius to use as you have with the hand benders like those that Jay posted.

For those of you that didn't already know, I'm a machinist by trade (I build helicopters). We build a lot of pulleys and such out of billet 6061 and I'm trying to write a program right now to make a v groove pulley that actually has 6-8 different diameter grooves from around 1"-8". Then, just bolt this one "pulley" to the table and, PRESTO!, a hand tubing bender with 8 different size dies!

Might come in handy.

Roughly translated: I'd buy one if the price was right.
