Best option if you can find them are the Kyosho Velvets. Had a set from SuperShafty and they were the best shocks I ever owned for pure performance. Dont know if SuperShafty is going to stock them again anytime soon, but they are the best in my opinion. Wes |

Pick a sct rear shock in your budget & go with that, they only be 103mm but that's seriously not going to be a big issue. Proline ProSpec or powerstroke Kyosho velvet's Associated, Losi, Tekno & Durango have nice sets. Gmade XD are popular, wouldn't bother with the piggy backs my self but the diaphragm are nice enough. Best bang for buck yet in my book has still been traxxas xxl alloy big bores, smooth, don't leak, Axial spring fit so heaps of options right down to feather light, only problem is no pivot ball for top mount but I believe the ProLine mount kit fits. |

I sold my velvets after a lot of back to back testing against the xxl big bores.

I have the Proline Powerstrokes on my Yeti and really like them. Their well designed and high quality.
