Default Best Rock Crawler out of the box?

What would be considered to be the best rock crawler, just the way you get it out of the box?

Im looking for RTR rock crawler, as I really dont have the patience or steady hands to put together a whole car at this point.

Is there one out there thats really good right out of the box that would require limited mods to it to make it exceptionally good at rock crawling.

I have limited experience with RC vehicles. I have a couple planes and a Tamiya Hummer that I love, but it can't climb rocks stock.

Oh yeah, electric please, dont like the noise of gas/nitro powered and my buddies truck which is nitro powered can't crawl rocks, but does do some nice jumping.

THnaks,

well your pretty limited on this selection and id say a txt but they dont come rtr id suggest a e-maxx there fast can climb well and are easy to get parts for and with some limited mods like a largger(longer) pair of shocks and a larger shock tower and your all set.

There is no "out of the box crawler". The TXT is the best platform to get started but is not RTR. You also have to at least lock the diffs if you want to crawl. Otherwise, you are just doing high speed bashing in rocks.

There are alternatives. How much do you want to spend? You can have one of the guys on this site build you a hardcore rig that will not disappoint you. That may be the best solution. Once he is finished building, he sends it to you and it's RTR!!!!
