Anyone have any experience with boom racing d90/110 phat axles? If you dont own them don't bother replying i really don't need to hear uneducated guesses on the quality or how brand "A" is so much better thanks.

Here's a well detailed review/comparison of them, I'd buy them based on this if I still had my SCX10.

I am not OP, but was also wondering if anyone had experience with the Phat D90 / D110 axles,

The review in your link refers to the phat "steel" ax10 axle housings, which, although made by the same company, are a completely different product.

OP, and myself, are looking for info on these:

I believe these are based on RC4WD Yota axles, or at the least designed to replace them - based on the manufacturers description.

I am also wondering if they are compatible with gears, shafts, knuckles etc. from other brands the way their "XR Phat axles are"?

Thanks for clarifying, those look nice, but I don't recall seeing them before. Hopefully tighter tolerances and better metal than RC4WD, maybe somebody else knows more about them?

I owned a set of the phat axles for a few weeks. I never got around to running them but the quality seemed to be pretty good. That said I just picked up a set of the new rc4wd cast K44's and they're really nice. No doubt nicer than the phat's. When I disassembled them to do the normal "shim & grease" necessary with Rc4wd axles I was surprised to find they were packed with what looked to be something similar to Lucas Red n Tacky. They didn't even really need to be shimmed but I added a .2mm anyway. We'll see how well they hold up but for now I gotta say I like them a lot.

I own a set and have used them on a recent build, much better quality than the RC4WD ones imo.
