| Torsion Chassis
I may be beating a dead horse here, but I'm curious about the state of torsional chassis's. They seem like a great idea and the videos I've seen show them to be exceptional performers. I like the twin torsion chassis shown here: Twin Force Torsion Chassis I'm also wondering about a design where the main body is attached rigidly to the front axle and the rear axle is free to rotate about a central beam, main body axis. Is a torsional force even required to return the rear axle to center? Attaboy |

If you wanted a hard body on that I would suggest large rigid I shaped body mount that matches the axles in length, mount a beam coming up off the center of the axles with a U at the top for the I shaped frame to sit in, then rubber band the ends near the outer axle. I suppose a T shape with a swivel in the center over the axle would accomplish the same thing. But yea, rubber bands with limiting straps is about the only way to keep the body from leaning all gangsta when it twists.
