I noticed their page was missing from the vendor section today...

Did ya mean "Rc4wd"?

That is very odd, however... Hope it's temporary!

When you run their axles that's the best you can hope for most days. They make nice looking products that perform great on a shelf. If you abuse (real world not 5 year old with a redbull) their stuff it tends to fail.

Jason doesn't seem to care about the forum much these days anyway so they would be yet another vendor dropping their star and walking away.

I've had more than a few 3wd cars from rc3wd... They're the only company I know of that still sells deformed tires.

There are a whole lot of people with bad/wrong bearings that ate up unavailable gears that would argue with you.

Do you mean shipped with the RTRs or bad kit bearings?

There was a bunch of RTR rigs put out with the wrong bearings on a shaft so the gears walk around and the case gets chewed up. A bunch of people got new gears and bearings shipped to them until rc3wd ran out of gears again.

You forgot no grease and no loctite. I went thru mine as you should and found no grease and 1 screw missing , no loctite on my RTR.
So I've had no issues.

If I'm dropping cash on a Ready To Run vehicle I'm not going to go through a damned thing but batteries. If I want to wrench I'll buy a kit and do it all myself.

Yup,Normally correct. But in this case, the rtr made more sense for the 100.(less with coupon) as I didn't have a Tx for the dig

I don't mind a little wrenching on an RTR, especially a newly released one. But when you have been building the same truck on the same assembly line for years and we STILL have to take the whole damn thing apart to make sure it is greased, shim the diffs, and Loctite everything, that is a problem.

My LWB TF2 miraculously has not dropped any driveline yet even though I didn't grease or shim (I did upgrade driveshafts), but its going to lose the front diff pretty soon I think.
