Default Need recommendation for controller/transmitter.

Hi

I have a RC car (with a 27T brushed motor) on which I have put a platform to mount a tripod which holds a 360 video camera. The car has good low speed control and I only need it to go up to walking pace.

I will control this car from some distance away looking at a monitor as I won't be in the view of the camera. Currently this is using a mobile phone camera and ip webcam app viewed via my laptop over wifi. Range is limited also.

I will replace this wifi camera with a suitable Camera with transmitter / receiver plus monitor at some point to match the range of the intended controller.

Currently I have a cheap Chinese controller and it's range is limited.

I need a recommendation on a controller that has the following:

1) Good range upto 100m but must handle obstacles like walls, doors, pillars, trees, bushes, etc.

2) A method to choose a constant speed (different settings). I thought of a dial but also a lever that stays in position can work with a gauge at the side (I have seen on some transmitters)

3) Compatible with my Holmes Hobbies ESC.

4) Not too expensive

Thanks for your help in advance.
