First off to be clear, this is not an ad, nor am I selling this one or any other one.

So we all like to bitch and complain. The more expensive it is or the cheaper it is the more people talk. When the topic of Chinese parts come up people get polarized.

So for your viewing here is what $30.00 and 2 weeks of waiting gets you. I have bought the various parts used in this before and have had absolutely no issue. However since they are not branded who knows if they are the same or clones of clones of clones. But for the price you can't beat it as you are $46.00 plus shipping into a plastic one.

I used the flash on the camera to pick up every little flew in finish there is. What you can not see is just how clean and smoothly the gears rotate.

I can confirm the quality. I have one in my 6x6 with 35t on 3s with big grippy tyres. Still holding strong.

Been looking at buying 2 of these and using the internals in a 3d printed housing. I figure they are cheaper then buying just the internals. Since you need pins, rods, bearings, shims, and gears.

I have bought these cheap trans and am surprised at the quality. Bearings are a push fit and even the paint holds up well. No wear and no water inside even after a lot of wet driving.

Typically Ebay. Many people have a difficult time navigating ebay looking to find Chinese part, due to a language difference. China/Hong Kong are heavily influenced by British English. When searching use terms like Alloy=Aluminum, Gearbox=transfercase or transmission, plus many other little difference.



FYI every part the Chinese make fits a D90, so that's a good search term.

I have used similar ebay transmissions before, no major problems with either one but the gears had quite a bit of side to side play. No mesh issues, just an annoying rattling of the gears between the walls of the case.

You can add to that, that this style case can not he mirrored.

That's easy enough to fix with shims if it starts to bother you.

Jazhobby on ebay is where I got mine from. You can buy just the gears, or the case seperately as well.
