Default Wraith or SCX axles on rock crawler?

Hi guys,

New to forum, I used to have trial models couple of years ago, now back to this hobby due to ACL injury and not being able to do my primary passion for couple of months.

So I want to build a rock crawler, I am thinking of either buidling a proper MOA crawler using Bully 1 axles or buying an SCX / Wraith and designing the frame myself.

Problem with MOA for me is cost - need a proper 4 or so channel radio, axles are expensive etc.

So I was thinking of doing a shafty using either SCX or Wraith axles. I wonder what is your opinion of using them, I guess Wraith transmission would be way too quick as well?

I've seen 5th Dimension Sucker Punch (5Th Dimension Sucker Punch "The Green Machine") and that is what I am aiming for.

I am into having a solid, reliable axle more than anything. Replacement parts are also important, I guess there is more parts for SCX10 then for Wraith?

I guess width is the most obvious difference. Plenty of parts for the AR60 available, so that shouldn't be a factor in your choice.

White trash was just saying ar60/wraith in the front and scx10 2 in the rear. He called it a sporty. Shouldent be too expensive.
